I installed and registered ZoneAlarm Pro 4 last week, and have yet to recieve my license key. I am unable to do any updates without it!!!

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Speaking of Zone Alarm... yesterday morning I had 0 high-rated intrusions.
By that afternoon I had 20,000 more intrusions 400 of which were high rated.
Freaky.

I seem to get a lot more intrusions, too, lately. The numbers rack up faster than they used to. Go figure.

I have Zone Alarm Plus but I don't think that is the same this as Pro. Sorry Bear. Not sure if I can help you.

I've used the free version for over a year and I disabled the pop-up alert window 'cause it really got on my nerves.

i just set it to automatically do things instead of warning me each time it foils an error
also not all things that za or other firewalls get mean that it is an attack
there are a lot of legitimate reasons that your ip gets pinging
legitimate as in non vicious
isps do it
other isps do it to other isps as well

I run ZAP3.5(?), but I...... uh...... borrowed it along with a keygen so I can't help, but I think you should call. As for updates, I haven't had any in over a year and it works great.
