Any Tool Fans?

Or perfect circle fans? Those are two of the best bands in all of music I think. Maynard is awesome. I saw APC live in my city and it was the best concert I've been to.

tool and a perfect circle are 2 of my all time favourite bands. lateralus is my 1st/2nd favourite album, aenima's good, and undertow's also good, thirteenth step is just plain incredible! i REALLY want to see either of them live... but i doubt they'll be comming to australia any time soon...

a tool thread pops up about every month an a half around here. there was one not too long ago.

i'm a tool fan. lateralus is in my top 5 albums. but i like all their stuff.

i don't have any APC albums. i like "H"

I used to be a really big Tool fan, even went to a show with a few of my best friends a number of years back. Maynard came out wearing a bra and panties which was pretty much par for the course with him... They put on a good show, although their opening band "The Melvins" were horrible. The bass was so high that the mosh pit even had to stop because people thought that their hearts were going to explode.

I haven't listened to Tool in quite a while though... Just no urge to listen to them anymore. Weird.

How is it that chrstians feel like listening to Tool/APC is ok, when they are explicitly not christian? Just look at 'Eulogy' and 'Judith'. Maynard makes it pretty clear his stance on christians/christianity...

But me not being a christian, I listen to Tool all the time, I'm listening to Merkaba right now (freaky song). Their best songs IMO are Ænema, Forty Six & 2, Lateralus, and Refection. APC's really good, but I don't really listen to them that often.

I suggest you listen to "Thomas" sometime. Or, I take that back, go look at the lyrics. It's damn near impossible to hear the lyrics in "Thomas".

And I'm a Maynard junkie. I have every albums, mtv video, 3 interview cds and 6 vcds of live performances.

Ya, this one guy from my Bible Camp/Youth Group got me into Tool. I'm not a massive fan...but they're pretty awesome. My favorite song would have to be Stinkfist.
