Any Southern Baptists on this board?

I'm a free-will southern baptist

and I was beggining to feel alienated

Haha...I know where the fella lives, if you're speaking in literal terms. What church do you attend? Highland Baptist?

Haha...I mean no offense, but Southern Seminary doesn't even consider that church SBC. Then again, it's in the Highlands, so...

Where is this going on? I know for a fact that Texas SBC has excluded several churches for trying to install gay deacons, music ministers, etc.

I have to agree with Holly on this. Maybe the church you were referring to was in the SBC at one time, but if they're allowing gay members, then I doubt they're still in the convention.

I don't know for sure if they are still in the SBC or not, I would hope not, but I cannot be sure either way.
