Any Rat Owners?

Hey everyone. I am thinking of buying a rat in the near future, but I haven't decided yet. I am looking for a pet that is fairly independent and doesn't make a whole lot of noise. Do rats make a lot of noise? Thanks. God bless

Rats do not make alot of noise but they do require regular handling or they can become quite vicious. so if you dont have a lot of time a rat may not be sutable.
