I've been a punk since I was younger, and grew up listening to only punk music. Though I am saved, and only listen to christian music, it's still in me. Are any of you guys or girls punks here?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'd listen to some punk too, but as far as the Christian punk genre goes, i'm not so sure. You should search it tho, it was easy for me to find christian metal and rap.

Yeah man... I'm a huge fan of destroy the runner, wolves at the gate and as i lay dying good stuff. Whats becoming the archetypes best song? I liked that one song i think it was called ephoc of war.

awesome, i'll have to definetley check them out some more. Also, i just got into the band "bury me" there pretty good too. For the dude who started this thread "bury me" is like a christian punk metal band btw. I am not a punk but certainly worship my metal bands and they are far from Christian music. lol Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer and Black Sabbath among others are my favs

Sir Robbins, I strongly suggest you listen to some christian metal. Seriously, i dont want you to miss out. After listening to Destroy the runner or wolves at the gate bands like metalica just don't sound as good as they used to... not even "sandman" or "st. anger". Christian metal has found alot of talent over the years and is growing. Just as a friend, I suggest you try listening to some christian metal. It's uplifting and even more relatable than slayer's "raining blood".
