What exactly are you referring to?
If I undersstand you correctly, the phoenix was the bird in Egyptian mythology that died and rose from the ashes.
I was just looking at that subeject yesterday. What I thought about was how Jesus rose from the dead on His own accord and because of that, He also has raised us up from the ashes and the miry clay and has brought us to life.

I haven't lived in Yuma for over 5 years.

I miss it like crazy. It's too cold in the Yukon, too dark in the winter. Give me 100°+ over -40° any day.

that would be a bit much for me. I grew up in Iowa but have lived in Az for almost 20 years. I can't stand the summers but they would be better then -40 in the winter

I'm 90 miles north of Phoenix! My kids are in the Phoenix area.

I've been in AZ for 21 years. Before that, I lived 90 miles north of El Paso!!!!

I grew up in Louisiana and you couldn't pay me enough money to live back there again with all that humidity!!!

Besides, this is a dry heat!!!!

I am a D'Backs fan--as long as they aren't playing the Braves! I've been a Braves fan for 32 years, it's kinda hard to switch teams!

Yeah don't blame you. My husband is a Braves fan too. I'm a Cardinal fan(St. Louis not AZ)I do like the Dbacks Gonzo's my favorite he just seems to be great person besides a great baseball player

I was born in Louisiana lived there til I was six. I still visit, have lots of family there.

I agree on the humidity, but I don't know if I would go so far as to say I would I would never live there agian.

My parents still live in Mesa, and I visit them often. Infact I will be there in october. going to help my Dad with some Work on his house, and I am going to catch the Stryper concert while I'm there.

Boy do I, I moved here to work as a missionary in Juarez Mexico. so not only am I adjusting to a new city, I am also adjusting to a new culture. It has been alot of fun but it has not been easy.

i live in the far south... its quite nice, and the heat isnt all that bad.

i have never once had to get up early to shovel the heat off of my driveway, or chizel sunshine from my windshield.
