any one else get 'Those calls'

The 'I know you are due soon and was just checking up on you' calls.

Like I might forget to tell them when the baby was born?

And do I need reminded that everyone thinks I should have had this baby by now?

I do appriciate the concern really, just......

Maybe it is only me cause I live a bazzilion miles away from everyone.

Or maybe I am just cranky cause I would REALLY like to have had this kid!

Well, are they like your family? Or just your friends? Because I am going to leave the calling up to everyone else, and hope it circulates form word of mouth,because calling everyone while I am in labor or in the day after I deliver my baby isn't something high on my priority list.

I mean, my family will know the minute I go into labor, and my best friends, but not my "regular" friends.

Thank God I did because he was a week late What is annoying me most this time around is when people see me and say "oh, you haven't had the baby yet?" I so want to respond with "Yes I did about three weeks ago. I am just really fat"

I was amazed at how many people told us to have sex toward the end of our pregnancy to induce labor. I mean, even strangers! Like it was ok to discuss sex with you because obviously you'd had sex AT LEAST ONCE since you were pregnant.

I think the reason all these people call is mainly because they want to touch base because they feel bad that they can't be there with you in this exciting time.
