Both movies were poorly done, I guess if you havent' read the books they would be ok. I tried not to compare them to the books the 2nd time I saw them. It was hard though. So much of the message is left out.

i think the series has been excellent....and i disagree with some of you on armagedden. i thought that is was much better the the few before it...and one of the best (even though the 1st installment (left behind) could never be topped). sure, the writing is simple, but the message is great. i have been truly blessed by this series and i know that many others have been, as well. i will be sorry to see it end....but i am looking forward to the glorious appearing.
