Any ideas for an arts and crafts project i can do with preschoolers.....with a topic of "SHAPES". The theme of that day will be about Shapes, and i dont have an idea of what kinds of arts and crafts they can do

Play dough makes nice shapes and they can change them....

if you have an oven cookie dough is fun to make shapes with and they can eat them

tracing around objects of different shapes is fun and you can draw chothes on them to make the people.

a crown with a "Jewel" of a shape is fun and you can wear them

I don't know if they sell them where you live, but I know here in Canada they sell rubbery type material that is cut into shapes. Other than that I can not think of anything.
I suggest going to the library or looking on the web for ideas (I guess you have kinda done that already). As well going to a craft store and seeing what they have might give you some ideas.
