I was newly diagnosed with ADD 6 mos ago. Hehe 35 years later, after destroying relationships, jobs and friendships. I have lost almost everything. Now I have found Christ and the rebuilding process has begun. In this rebuilding process I have read that most individuals with ADD/ADHD have an inner "gift". I think I have tried most things, and can't seem to find the "one" thing I get my hyperfocus on. I get lil bouts of it, but then of course as any ADD/ADHD knows...By the time you've notice what I've done, I have moved on 3 things down the road..leaving a heap of a good intention behind.

You are thinking like a person who is not tried to their creative selves. We can't and should not be limited to 1 thing, that is just culture and society's hammered into us.
Yes, you are gifted and God has designed us to be more intuned with our creative and imaginitive capabilities. The hard part is learning how to be aware of it.

Bible taught me wisdom in how to deal with problems. From teachings of Christ to many lessons played out in it's pages. Proverbs are short and sweet wisdom to help keep your path straight.
This book, Walking in This World: The Practical Art of Creativity would be the book I recommend reading after the bible. God didn't make man to be robots, he created great works of art made in his own image.
We are sexual and emotional beings, instead of suppressing and limiting it. Learn how to express it. Writing, song writing, play music, drawing, sketching, crafting, baking, cooking, or whatever your heart's desire gets joy in doing.
We are creative problem solvers, duddlers, tinkerers, and play with ideas that pass into our heads like clouds in the sky.
Learn your weaknesses too, and create addaptive behaviors, build from your strengths and deligate your weaknesses to others.
