My favourite genre is definately romance although I also love adventure! So any suggestions for those would be great! I ahve ordered some of the suggested books already and am currently reading A Purpose Driven Life and Love Beyond Reason by John Ortberg - both very inspiring books. Thanks for all the suggestions I plan to check out every one of the books mentioned - I am a BIG fan of books! Hehe! Never without one!

I'm reading a great one right now called Eli by Bill Myers. It's kind of a parallel Earth story about what if Christ came right now instead of 2000 years ago. I haven't found anything in it I wouldn't want a 15-year-old to read. I'd read it to my 8-year-old stepson, but at the rate I read aloud, he'd be studying for his college boards by the time we finished.

I understand his other books are good too.

Are you allowed to read christian romance? For your age I would recommend any books by Janette Oke. They are excellent books.
I've tried checking this out but I can't find anything by this author! How did you find books by her, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks everyone for the replies! God Bless x x

The Quest Book is it Controversial or just a good read.

Check out this site for this book. I read an unedited version of this book a few weeks ago it is a great book. But I don't know if it deals with evolution or not.
It suggest the possibility that God could have created a civilization on the earth before our time and what happen to them. While it is fictional fantasy ii caused me to have some very interesting thoughts. You will probally need to read it for youselves. I think it just came out or will be coming out soon. I found it on barnes and nobles website. Its called The Quest Book One, the author is Ray L. Brown and surprisingly he is a minister in the church.

In any case I found the website and it does let you read a chapter.
