I love GameCube, they have some great GC only games (MARIO KART~!!!!), although I was quite disappointed with Viewtiful Joe.

I love my GBA SP too for what it's worth.......I travel a lot so it's great for airports and plane rides.

I bought the Gamecube, a memory card and two games on Saturday. Later that day I bought the Metroid Prime pack which comes with the Wavebird controller. I'm playing Metroid Prime for a while.

Animal Crossing is a great game, and when I reget a GC, I'll get it. I had to sell my cube as I was preparing for an exam. I'm an admin at a GC site, and I don't have one anymore.

Animal Crossing is a great way to kill a few hours.....who'd of thought a game like that would be so addicting?
When I first heard about it i was lik "Uh, that sounds pretty stupid."

I thought the same thing It sounded like a cheap, girly, Sims rip-off. But man oh man, when you get into it it's easy to get sucked in *points to custon title*. I even took the time to get the GOdlen Axe. Unfortunately, when I sold my first GC, my Animal Crossing memory card went with it, so there went my golden axe and shovel, my nearly complete fish and bug collections (1 fish away!!), and my beautiful two story mansion with a roomy basement.

I find Animal Crossing interesting, but the materialism of it disturbs me. For instance, after I paid off my initial house, Nook asked if I wanted a bigger one, and I said no, and he laughed it off, explaining that you can't be happy without a bigger house.

I mostly use RPGs for my long-term-gaming fix. Honestly, there's a case to be made for using the game boy player and playing strategy and RPG games on that; there are some good ones.

I'm currently addicted to Animal Crossing (my 5 year old is, too). She got the game for Christmas and we've played it every day since. I have to help her out with some of it (motherly instinct, I guess...I send her money and items in the mail). I've almost paid off my 2nd house...I just can't wait. I LOVE fishing but I don't get the bug catching yet. All I can catch is a bagworm every now and then.

She also has Mario Kart DD, Pikmin, Finding Nemo, and Mario Party 4.

Currently all I have is SSB:M, but I have sketched out a list of the order of games I am buying, on an as-come money basis.

This will probably change, and seeings as I had about 15 games for Nintendo 64, this is a pretty big list for me.

I ha never thought of that! Of course, I never turned down Nook's offer for a bigger house either.

I want the GBA Player too. Being able to play Fire Emblem, FFT: Advance, Advance Wars, the Castlevanias, etc., on my TV would be great.

Heather Jay, the bug catching does take some getting used to, but remember that there are many bugs that have to be caught in special ways. Shaking trees (cathing bees is impossible methinks), hitting a rock with your shovel, etc. Other than that, just walk slowly anytime you hear a bug chirping or squeaking. If you don't run, you can usually get really close before the bug flies or jumps off.

Yes Mace, it's definitely a good game. If you have the cash and want a good RPG, definitely pick up Fire Emblem. You have the GBA player? That is awesome, Fire Emblem would be much better on a big TV.
