Thanks for your post mourning dove.
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: ..." Acts 2:17-21
We need to be prepared to help those when this happens. One thing is to be thick skinned to know that calling and be prepared to help those coming up.. There shouldn't be any lone rangers even though it's understandable. Everything God does has a purpose and if you see in the supernatural, then there's a reason Dont make assumptions. An example is some think darkness is always ungodly yet Deu 4
"Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children. 11 And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness...." Asks what you're being shown. Encourage you to keep a journal and as He reveals the meaning, add to the original. Encourage you to get clearance from God before you start talking about what you've seen.
Even though Scripture says "Despise not prophesyings," Folks do even believers. That's on them. But I Thess 5 (reveals our spiritual state, heart indicator/meter) We continue on - "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." I Thess 5 (learn how to evaluate / ascertain then keep what is worthy by good warfare (I Tim 1:18 which includes faith & obedience. These can help prove all things:
-check it against Scripture (Acts 17:11),
-ask for confirmation (Matt 18:16; Acts 9;9-19 especially v 10-12; II Cor 13:1)
-fasting and praying, (Judges 20:26-27)
-spiritual discernment, (Gal 2:9)
-does it point to Yeshua, (Rev 19:10)
-receive G_dly counsel (Prov 11:14)
Study God's Word (Psa 119:11, II Tim 2:15). Meditation isn't emptying your mind but focusing on God and His Word
God used a donkey to see in the supernatural - seeing the angel of the Lord (Num 22)
God can use our physical senses for spiritual purposes such as -
-Isaiah 6 Ezekiel saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple." He heard the seraphims cry "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.:" "...the house was filled with smoke."
-Peter saw, heard, and felt an angel. Acts 12:7
-In I Kings 19:7, Elijah saw and ate the food (food usually has a smell).
-Ezekiel wrote, "So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth" (Ezek. 3:1-3).
-John received a scroll from an angel. He wrote, "It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour" (Rev. 10:8-10).
Also, from Mark 8 Jesus "After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly." v25 Jesus had asks in v 18 "Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?" Jesus healed his eyes spiritually and physically.
Discernment is important and something most believe they have which is good but discerning of spirits is different. It is from His Spirit. (It's not a dishonoring, criticizing, judging). Avoid the fear of man but maintain the fear of the Lord. Remain teachable.
"Yet He sent prophets to them to bring them back to the Lord;..." II Chron 24:19
"...but the one who prophesies builds up the church." I Cor 14:4
"Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge." "And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets." The words and spirits are judged by other prophets. ( I Cor 14:29, 32) and others (I John 4:1).
"But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts..." Jer 27:18 Intercessors included Huldah, a woman (II Kings 22 and II Chron 34)
Some think everything supernatural is ungodly while others think the supernatural is all Godly. Both are in error.
"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Rev 19:20
The showdown will be a one of power and it's essential to know the true Source and His purpose no matter what method of communicating He chooses.
Again has anyone noticed changes recently in what you're seeing?
