"Anthem"- a Poem.

This is a poem I wrote to support our troops.

"Anthem"

So many people hate the thought

Of America at war.

The thought of peace throughout the world

Is one we all adore.

But sometimes peace can't be obtained

By turning the other cheek,

We have to stand up for what we believe,

While still remainging meek.

America's full of power,

In this we all take pride.

So shouldn't we use it to help

Countries in need on the other side?

No matter what our opinion,

We need to support our troops.

To preserve the safety of all,

Some must jump through the fiery hoop.

So wave a flag, then proudly say,

"I supported our troops today."

May America be free forever,

God Bless the U.S.A.!
