  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Went to see Ant-Man yesterday and generally enjoyed it. It had the predictable elements, but some genuinely funny ones as well. As mild spoiler, this scene sequence was especially funny. There are two post-credit scenes. I stayed for one, but missed the second one. So, be sure not to leave until the very end.

I am debating whether to see this one in the theatres or wait for DVD.

Going to the movies can be an expensive endeavor, and may choose to see Pixels instead even though I dislike Adam Sandler movies.

This is the last film of MCU Phase Two.

Phase Three begins next year with Captain America: Civil War.

It can indeed be expensive, especially with family. Going by myself set me back $21 with popcorn and drink. But you can't take it with you. Right?

I'm relatively new to comic book movies, and lack an understanding of the MCU and its phases. But I'm interested.

On a related note, this month The Christian Research Journal has a cover story entitled "The Gospel According to Marvel."
Barnes & Noble should carry it.

As I said in the FF thread, Ant Man is a very good movie. See it in the theater if you can.

The Cap scene at the end credits was an effective teaser for Civil War, and there were moments in Ant Man which were simply hilarious. Well done overall.
