Hi all! Actually I wanted to comment about 'answered prayers'. Just a little more than four years ago one of the most horrible things that could happen to any parent ... happened to me.

I prayed faithfully and asked for guidance, the great Lord answered my prayers on Valentine's day ... I'll never forget it!

I will continue to pray for the family of the one lost miner but I rejoice with tears that God has answered our prayes.

There is now denying that this is a true miracle!!!

I would like to add, thank you Jesus for mediating my prayers to our Heavenly Father this week.. Destiny Rose's ashes were given early today, my sister is doing much better and this act of mercy has brought her closer to God in your name.. - and my sis got to keep her 3 boys from the state officials through an angel, a woman who cared enough to listen to love verses hate... and said the state would not take away her 3 boys... continue to love you and others...thank you .. in Jesus name -- amen

Our God is an awesome God !

Yesterday one of the needs I asked for prayer was my financial needs, the Lord amazingly worked over night, I recieved a letter this morning saying I was owed a large amount of money from the disability team. A miracle, no coincidence there.

It is so great to hear the Answered prayers.... .
Be joyful always; pray continually ...1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

We are admonished to pray without ceasing because prayers assert God's power in our lives. When we fail to pray, we aren't cheating God; we're cheating ourselves..I like the following prayer because it reminds me that I can pray about anything:

Give me a good digestion, Lord,
and also something to digest;
Give me a healthy body, Lord,
With sense to keep it at it's best.
Give me a healthy mind, Good Lord,
To keep the good and pure in sight,
Which seeing sin, is not appalled
But finds a way to set it right.
Give me a mind that is not bored,
That does not whimper, whine, or sigh;
Don't let me worry over much
About the fussy thing called "I".
Give me a sense of humor, Lord,
Give me the grace to see a joke,
To get some pleasure out of life
And pass it on to other folk.....

Shielding our loved ones from the consequences of their problems often isn't possible. But praying for their ability to handle those problems is appropriate and can benefit them and us..If you're trying to accept responsibility for the problems of others, pray for them and pray with them...without ceasing......
Father, You've made it possible for us to stay in contact with you all the time, wherever we are..Even our unuttered thoughts can be prayers, which enables us to pray without ceasing..Thank You, also, for allowing the Holy Spirit to pray for us when we don't know how to pray...
