CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

my recent prayer has been for me to find a job. i got a job interview and had it today and i think that i now have been offered the position, as the manager wants me to go into the preschool to work to see if i like it, and i guess if i do then the job is mine!!!! YAY!!!! GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

My prayer is that my grandpa is not doing so good he was trying to put his motorcycle up on his trailer to go to florida bacuse they go every winter and the motor cycle fell on his leg and he is not doing very well he is lossing breath so he has to get some oxegen. In him so he has more energy in stuff . well thank u for putting in him ur prayers

God has blessed me many times and in many ways... but I will share the two most recent. I asked GOd to show me or teach me how to pray better, to show me what to say. Everytime I prayed I got stuck, not sure what to say or how to say it. I prayed about this for about a week and then out of nowhere my mother called me and said that she had a book for me called "Praying the scriptures." It is a great book that teaches how to pray better and how to pray from the bible. I believe that God spoke to my mom.... and through her answered my prayer. Next, I was having alot of trouble communicating with my husband and wasn't sure how to pray for him. So, I just prayed that God would help me with my relationship with my husband. A few weeks later I was going through some of my mothers books and found one called "the power of a praying wife." I have learned how to pray for my husband and our relationship has improved. God does answer prayer!!!

A few years back, I posted on the Christian forum and asked for prayer. My, then fiance' called off our wedding, I was in pain and turmoil and begged for prayer. His parents weren't believers and causing a huge uproar about our upcoming marriage. I was lost and didn't understand why.
I later found out that my now, Mother in law is an alcoholic and the family did not want an outsider coming in and knowing their secret. My husband, an only son- they have a very tight family.
Today, my husband is the absolute most loving man in the world. We were married barefoot on the beach in Mexico. During the turmoil, my husband gave his heart to Jesus.. His Mother, also found new strenght in prayer. I know her walk is slow, but she knows now that God is here and prayer is comforting.
My prayers were answered... All of them!! I prayed and asked for prayer that my husband would have a heart that loved Jesus. That this heart would have what he needs to also love me. That his parents would see the beauty in our relationship and find Jesus themselves. I have since had opporutunity to talk to his Mom about prayer and God and WOW, that is so out of character for me to be open and bold. But God gave me the words when I needed them. My husband even prays out loud sometimes before we go to bed at night with me.
Prayers Answered!! Thank you to all that prayed for us then. I am again asking for prayers as we are trying to have a baby now.

I have been battling bipolar, and due to certain medications, I haven't had an appetite. I posted my prayer request on here a couple of days ago, and my appetite has gotten a little better. I still have a long way to go, but at least my tummy now growls more often. I want to thank God for answering prayer, and I thank all those who cared enough to pray. May God Bless You All!

God Bless your Grandpa and make him well. May he be able to breath easier and get the rest he needs. May people come to your Grandpa's aid and help him with anything he needs and to be his friend. God Bless you for asking for prayers for your Grandpa. Anything we can pray for you, yourself about? I ask God to bless you with a great Christmas this year.tabby4Him said:

I would just like to say that I have been asking GOD for many things lately and have been having serious doubts.
Well, I will not doubt anymore my prayers have been answered and I am here to tell you that GOD does ANSWER prayer! Never give up hope and never doubt GOD.
