CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praise Report!
My sister Mary in California has been diagnosed with cancer several months ago. We have put her on many prayer lists nationwide. The initial prognosis was not good at all! Her last report from the doctor was this! The doctor told her that he wish he could take credit for her doing soooo well, but he can not! She is doing so much better than expected! Each set of blood work comes back better and better!
God is at work!

I just want to say thank you to all those who prayed for me to find a house for me and my kids....The move went wonderfully and they love there new schools....... I LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!!!!

I came on here last month asking for prayers for a family friend who was in jail facing deportation by ins for not having a green card, they had asked my family for a letter taking responsibility for him. Well the letter was mailed sometime around the 23rd of september and on Monday Oct 3rd we got a call from him in Immigration asking us to go pick him up. 2 days later he was given a work authorization card.
Thank You all especially (njcl)
for your prayers and help, the process is not over yet but we're are now more confident than ever that he will remain here for good. Eevery lawyer we contacted for him refused the case because "it was hopeless" but the Lord took it for us for free.

Anyways, I was praying that people would show up to my uncle's funeral to make my grandmother feel better about her son's death from stroke. And praise the Lord! My grandmother has lots of friends and they all came out to so see her. Also, lots of family showed and the local VFW post showed up to give my uncle military honors.
