Answer to Prayer!!!!

Where do I begin!!! Back in November I had major surgery on my left lung at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. I was in our local hospital before being transferd to St. Louis. My wife and I neither one has insurance because our employers didn't offer it. To buy it out of our pocket we just couldn't afford it. I was in the hospital for two weeks. From both hospitals my bills exceeded $70,000.00.

We put our trust in our Heavenly Father to take care of us physically and both spiritually and finacially. While in the hospital in St. Louis they said that I should file for medicaid which we did be was turned down. So, we called the hospital in St. Louis to see what to do next and they said they were aware that we had been turned down for medicaid and they were sending some finacial papers to fill and to get them back to them as soon as possible.

In the mean time I had another surgery in my hospital for a hernia. Things were not looking good at all. I am almost recovered from it now.

The point is, we turned this all over to GOD to find a way to help us with this burden and HE DID!!! We got a letter from Barnes Jewish Hospital this week telling us that they had reviewed our application for financial assitance. Thanking us for taking the time to fill out all the forms and to inform us that account had been approved for assitance at the reduced rate of 100%. They said that brought our account balance to 0.

Can you believe it, have of our entire bill wiped away. Over $38,000.00 gone!!!!! Prayer is the key!!! God listened to our pleas and took matters into his hands and took care of business.

I have to praise and thank God continually with my breath. He is so good to me. He has strengthened me thru all these trials and I only want to do what He has for me to do. Don't ever give up on Prayer, IT WORKS!!!!!!!

If I hadn't had GOD in my life thru this past 6 months, I don't know if I could have coped with all that I had to go thru. He give us strength that surpasses all understanding. His love for us is so merciful and gracious.

Unfortunately, I think this is why God allows us to go through difficult times so that we may be a credible witness to His ability to help in times of need.

I am so happy for you !!! now ask yourself if God had answered my prayer with a no instead of a yes could I still praise Him ? so often we forget there are three answers toprayer--yes ,no , and wait

If the answer had been no, I would still praise Him with every breath that I have. He is my strength that gets me thru each day. I think it pleases our Heavenly Father when he hears our praises in good or bad times.

God started preparing me months before I became sick to go thru this period of time. He used me as a testimony while I was in the hospital. On the day of my surgery which was about 5 hours long, I never once had any fear of what was going to happen. I new that if it was my time to go home, I was prepared. My wife and I put all our trust in the LORD. He will never let you now. It may take a while for Him to answer your prayers but He will in his time. If God doesn't answer them, we still have to keep prasing Him.

Auntie, thank you so much for your reply!!! I only want to server the Lord in any way I can. He is so good to us. I want to stay on my knees and keep in communion with our Heavenly Father as often as I can. What would it be like if we could stay in communion with our Father 24 hours a day. I can't imagine!!!

Very true, God is good!!! He will be with you thru whatever you have to go thru. I always want my testimony to be giving Him all the glory due Him. I want my worship of God to be on another level than I was previously. Take my worship higher and higher!!!!

That is an excellent testimony that i needed to hear. It's wonderful and enlightening to know that God is constantly at work. I'm currently quite down (look in bad experiences in school)and this is what lifted me up abit...thanks again.

I always want my testimony to be for the glory of our Lord. He has sustained me since my coming back into His will and I want to tell everybody about the love that He has for them and by only accepting by faith they can have the same thing.

Yesterday was really special, I felt like I was in the presence of our Heavenly Father all day long. I sing on our Worship Team at First Chruch of the Nazarene in Olney, Illinois and it started as soon as we entered His house yesterday morning. You could definately feel the presence of the Lord and it stayed that way all day and still yet this morning.

I have to add to this answer to prayer with another involving the first one. We got another bill from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis for several items that Barnes Jewish Hosipital couldn't do and W U did for them. Over 10,000 dollars. But with praise in my mouth and tons of thanks to my Heavenly Father, He opened the door for that bill to be taken care of also. We put all our hospital finances in this His hands several months ago and He is still working them out for us. Washington University Medical School did the same for us as Barnes Jewish Hospital. They reduced the bill by 100% and we don't owe them anything. PRAYER DOES WORK!!!!!! He will handle it in His time. Thanks for listening!!!!!!!

Thank you, He is so good to all of us. We just don't sometimes see what He is doing for us. We have to keep our eyes upon Him and our ears always listening to what He has for us to hear. He will never leave or forsake us. I always want to be walking in the center of His will. I will always have love for my Lord in my heart.
