Have you ever felt called to action? Called to something outside of yourself?
Just after the New Year I felt inspired to see if at least one individual in each of the 50 States would commit to a concerted witnessing effort on March 25, 2009.
I can only say that the Holy Spirit called me to this "mission."
So, I've been online (craigslist, Christian Forums, etc.) calling for one witness in each State.
I expected people to jump on this opportunity to witness to those around them. Their coworkers, family, friends, complete strangers. Who wouldn't want to share the love of Christ with the lost?
To my surprise, few people seem interested in witnessing to others. Most people ask "What's so special about March 25, 2009?" or "Witness what?" etc. etc.
There's nothing special about March 25, 2009. It's just another day on the calendar. How about witnessing to others about Christ, His love, etc.?
There's no gimmick, no game . . . just a sincere and honest effort from this random guy who felt led to ask if anyone was willing to witness on March 25, 2009.
