  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hmmm....so God was Jesus on earth: both fully human and fully divine?

Is Mary the mother of God? Yes yes, i know about the "heresies" and the councils which attempted to solve them. They succeded in making it more confusing.

Oh, and if Mary was a virgin and conceived Jesus without the "help" of a man, how can there be a whole chapter of lineage of Jesus, dating him back to who? Abraham? Isaac? Certainly Mary was not related....

Yes.

Is Mary the mother of God?

I find the reasoning behind it circular. Mary was the mother of the humanly incarnation of Jesus, it's odd to say she is the mother of God and yet was created by God.

Certainly Mary was not related....

What do you mean?

Yes! Fully human and fully divine is the very essence of modern satanism. It's we mortals who have all the real power in the world, we crafted gods in our image, made towering statues for them and chiselled away at them until the features were just perfect. We wrote volumes of stories about the gods until we had a whole mythology built up. Then we breathed the breath of life into our statues and stories and created our gods, not the other way around. So yes, Mary birthed Jesus, birthed him in every sense of the word, through her power, and not Jehovah's, she brought a new little god into the world. Humans created god and give him power over the Earth, not the other way around.

My answer to the third question is a little less esoteric. I always interpreted that Mary (Or Joseph) was related to Abraham and so on, thus, her son would be as well.

He was God with a human body, his human nature was either just his physical body, or it was dissolved into his God nature, Man being finite and God infinite. I'm an Apollinarianist or Monophysite,(haven't quite sorted it out yet) hence my "Heretic" Faith icon.

Is Mary the mother of God? Yes yes, i know about the "heresies" and the councils which attempted to solve them. They succeded in making it more confusing.

Mary is the mother of Jesus's physical body. and only in the sense that she carried the baby in her womb. I don't believe Jesus had mary's genes or anything, and she isn't the mother of God, she was just the carrier of the body God was made incarnate in.

Oh, and if Mary was a virgin and conceived Jesus without the "help" of a man, how can there be a whole chapter of lineage of Jesus, dating him back to who? Abraham? Isaac? Certainly Mary was not related....

I believe the lineage back to David was traced through Joseph, who had nothing to do with Jesus's birth. Jesus simply emerged from the womb of the wife of a descendent of David in order to fullfil a prophecy about the line of David reigning forever, and Jesus filled it on a technicality. The whole lineage thing is a technicality, as jesus is not related to any human, but he was technically the son of a descendent of David, and so he is technically a descendent of David.

If this were true, why do we not have control over our own bodies? And, how did humans get here to begin with?
If that were true, would there be less disease, murders, heartbreak?

Oh, boy.

Jesus=God on Earth?
Not quite, he just became a vessel for the Logos.

Mary=Mother of God?
Nope. The church just needed an undercover goddess, and didn't want to give the title to the Magdalene, who was more deserving.

Virgin birth?
Doubtful. Since the Logos didn't enter into Jesus until his baptism, the events surrounding his birth are irrelevant.

And those, among others, are the reasons for my heretic icon.

To answer this question, you would need to answer amoung other questions,
Why would there be a need for a Virginal birth?

The answer is that man is corporeal; blood, bones, and flesh. For the Son of God to appear to man, He too, must be of blood, bones, and flesh. Jesus's father is not blood, bones, and flesh. Therefore, God (the Father), can not have sex with Mary, who is of blood, and bones, and flesh.
