It's an admonishment and encouragement to strive towards a goal. Not a question. We can all do better. And that doesn't just apply to living a godly life according to Biblical principles for Christians. We're all on a path to either self improvement or self destruction. It's how we're made and our whole purpose in being here. To learn and grow.
