CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My immediate thought was the answer "yes," because I'm so used to saying "yes I have a cat at home in the States," but...
My cat died this summer. We had her for 18 years - we got her as a kitten when I was 10. I'm overseas right now, so I wasn't able to see her at the end, so it almost doesn't feel real to me. But I cried when my parents told me... I really love her... it'll be hard going home next year and not seeing her.
Do you think God will let us have our pets in Heaven?

Yes. I like it when you go outside in the morning and it "smells" cold. I know that's kind of silly, but I look forward to that Autumn smell!

Bible study, laundry, ate breakfast, washed a whole bunch of dishes by hand because the dish washer didn't do a good job, made lunch for my family, watched Crossing Jordan, went to a parent teacher conference with 3 teachers, went grocery shopping, got the kids to get along, comforted two of them...and now...I've got to go make dinner and then go to my ladies Bible study at the church. (life's always an adventure around here )
