CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Mine just turned 13. And every answer is filled with anger. I can just say his name and he freaks out. Hormones. It's hard to take, even though I understand. But, at least he still hugs me good night and tells me he loves me at bed time. But the rest of the day...Whoa! He stresses me out!
Anyway...I'm kind of looking forward to it for my girls. They're 5th and 2nd grade. Getting them new cloths. Picture day. Them being back with their friends. I think they're starting to miss it. But my son... I feel so much dread when I think of him going back to school. He struggles. And he's shy and awkward. And we just moved here. He doesn't know anybody. It's been pretty hard on him.
