CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If it weren't for my sister, I would prefer to be an only child. (I'm #1 of 7 children...she's #7 and I love her dearly. But the brothers?

I believe young people can definately love another person. But whether or not they know what love really is...that's another story. I think it takes time and experience to be able to know true love. Parents teach their children love from the moment they are born. But I'm making a distinction between romantic love and family love.

I would like to believe that because I am a saved Christian that if the end of the world comes, and I have not yet died, that I will be saved from the great tribulation by being transported away. But I'm also open to the fact that like most everything else in the Bible, "Rapture" may mean something entirely different than what has been preached from the pulpit or written in fiction.
