CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Um it depends on how I'm feeling when I have free time. If I'm tired then I'll just lounge around at home reading a book or watching TV. If I'm feeling upbeat I'll go plan an outing with friends.

I suppose it's cold... and the only fun you can have there is playing with penguins, unless you somehow find a way to connect to the internet and have a laptop with a really looooooooong battery life, or a solar charger. But I don't know, I've never been there... the Antarctica icon I have is just for fun.

No, you didn't offend me at allI just didn't understand what you meant exactly. I think we have a pretty good understanding of Australia and Australians. I think most of us don't understand the "slang" though. lol. I took a quiz on this forum once to see how well I knew Aussie slang and I think I got 2 out of 20 correct.

Yep but my the company I work for is reducing headcount because they lost money last year. I hope they don't get rid of me. I love it there.
