  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Clever, as always, Dave!!

Can't eat the pork, but would you care for a veggie pizza?
Oh please dont PUT YOURSELF DOWN

Some 'understanding' is required to decipher MEANING
> innuendo
> history reference
> notation perception

Communication is > a two way street <

ie: had I written it in GERMAN language
It would not now be being praised

Thank you.... It pleases me to have entertained
and to have brought warm smile to you

Good !

Yes if, (ie: so long as) you 'pass-your-meaning'
then you HAVE communicated (your message)

Receipt of your MESSAGE in understanding
passes 'real' images,
conceivable in the recipient's 'mind's eye'

LOL

I am pleased when I have served images (authored)
so to become sufficient
to support mirthful imagery
HOWEVER, Imagination IS 'required'

I think the honour of being loved
makes smiles happen don't you ?

questions ...and UNDERSTANDING

A man was stumbling through the woods
totally drunk
when he came upon a preacher baptizing people
in the river.
He proceeded to walk into the water
and bumped into the preacher.
The preacher turned around and though
almost overcome by the smell of alcohol
asked the drunk

"Are you ready to find Jesus?"

The Drunk answered, "Yes, I am."

So the preacher grabbed the drunk
and dunked him beneath the water
Then he pulled him up and asked him

"Brother have you found Jesus?"

The drunk replied "No, I haven't found Jesus."

The preacher shocked at the answer
dunked him into the water again
for a little longer.
Then again, he pulled him out and asked

"Have you found Jesus yet brother?"

The drunk again answered "No, I haven't found
Jesus."

By this time the preacher was at his wits end
so he submerged the drunk once more
and held him down for about 30 seconds
until he began kicking his arms and legs
whereupon he pulled him up.
The preacher again asked the drunk

"For the love of God have you found Jesus?"

The drunk wiped his eyes
and caught his breath
and finally said to the preacher

"Are you sure this is where he fell in?"

Perhaps, Dave. Even so, I enjoyed them.

Do you have a blog with your stories and jokes?

now see here***********************

CF is muy blog lol

My reply of yesterday has gone a'missing
BUT ...not to worry

am glad you enjoy my-stuff
and also the other stuff that I find
out there in the internet

LOL I did love those karatekats

I found some more HUMOUR
try this (its rather long but stick-with-it )

King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned
by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom.

The monarch could have killed him
but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals.
So, the monarch offered him his freedom,
as long as he could answer a very difficult question.
Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer
and, if after a year, he still had no answer
he would be put to death.

The question?...
What do women really want?
Such a question would perplex
even the most knowledgeable man
and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query.

But, since it was better than death, he accepted
the monarch's proposition to have an answer
by year's end.
He returned to his kingdom
and began to poll everyone: the princess,
the priests, the wise men and even the court jester.
He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him
a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch
for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high;
as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom
for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived
and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch.

She agreed to answer the question
but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot
the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table
and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified.
She was hunchbacked and hideous
had only one tooth, smelled like sewage
made obscene noises, etc.
He had never encountered such a repugnant creature
in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her
and endure such a terrible burden;
but Lancelot, learning of the proposal
spoke with Arthur.
He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice
compared to Arthur's life and the preservation
of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed
and the witch answered Arthur's question

thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered....
is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew
that the witch had uttered a great truth
and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch
granted Arthur his freedom
and Lancelot and the witch
had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached
and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom.
But, what a sight awaited him.
The most beautiful woman he had ever seen
lay before him on the bed.
The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened

The beauty replied
that since he had been so kind to her
when she appeared as a witch
she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self
only half the time
and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer?
Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament.
During the day, a beautiful woman to show off
to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle an old witch?
Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch
during the day, but by night
a beautiful woman for him to enjoy
wondrous intimate moments?

What would YOU do?

What Lancelot chose is below.
BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY?

that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced
that she would be beautiful all the time

No not at all
I think it is in a woman's best interest to educate
her man in acceptable services

it is a fact: That it is not taught in school

youngsters start out with oh too little-experience
and get a lot at-once having had
far too little education

The tactician
will want to get to know his enemy
The politician
will make her loads of promises
The electrician
will try to spark up a relationship
The carpenter
will try to put a box around everything
The milkman
will deliver clotted cream in one litre and half litre tubs
The chimney sweeps name is not SOOTY
oh! and
Her brother will never-understand that she loves him (really)

Can 'women' ever be really understood ?
