CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, he's doesn't know he's so gorgeous, and he's never won a trophy because he's never been entered into any kind of contest. He's just my kitty, rescued from an alley, and the most loving cat I've ever had......So thinking about it, yes, Jim, he probably does think he's in the seat of luxury because he came from nothing, scrawny and starved...I don't think he thinks he's king of the castle, though, because my toy poodle rules the roost, even though this doggie is half my cat's size....
LOL, whether he's spoiled, I'm not sure. Does wanting to be petted endlessly and jumping into my lap so that he can get petted some more count?

Yes, and would you believe that I think that he knows that he is now much loved...and well fed? Lol!
Yes! Some of the very best pets are rescued ones! Did you know that our local shelter has many beautiful animals, many of them pure bred?
Yes, and because he is so loving, would you believe it goes both ways?
