About such an easy and fundamental issue as the distance of the Andromeda Galaxy and the time it takes for light to travel the distance to Earth, the answer is : yes.

Because both the distance that separates us from the Andromeda Galaxy and the speed of light are fundamental and easy things to measure. And very fundamental to physics. If these were to be wrong, the whole of modern physics would fall. You pretended that "christian scientists" have formulated some different conclusion. Care to tell us what that conclusion was?

It's not a dodge. It's a trite question being asked to avoid explaining yourself. It's akin to saying that if people disagree on the best route from N.Y. to L.A. it implies that someone who says that the distance between them is a few feet should have his view likewise considered.
