Okay, well, I'm officially back to not caring. Jesus is our savior; the rest of this discussion is just sweat over the small stuff

The point is that Jesus told us everything we need to know. We just have to pay attention to what he said.

The arguing back and forth over the timing of the "rapture" between Christians is needless because we've been told when it occurs and why.

Jesus was clear and a ton of scripture confirms that:

1. The great tribulation began with the desolation of Israel and continues until the time of the end.
2. The great tribulation will be cut short for the sake of the elect because of the massive invasion of Israel.
3. After the gathering of the remnant of Israel and the church and the destruction of the invading armies, then the antichrist arises.

The abomination of desolation of Israel and the great tribulation that began after it have nothing whatsoever to do with the antichrist.

The great tribulation is a completely different time period from the time of wrath that begins the Day of the Lord.

The covenant breaking during midweek of Daniel 9 is fulfilled when Jesus came out of the wilderness and then preached for 3.5 years and died. The temple was rent and He said, "it is finished". His dying words.

We both know the AOD was fulfilled 70ad desolating Israel into a widow followed by the worst trib ever known and till the end will continue. Until of course it is cut short for the sake of the elect.

We both know a kinsman redeemer opens the scroll to end satans reign fulfilled at least in part at His resurrection with the first 4.

We know 1 day is as a 1000 years, the last days(2) are the Church age and on the 3rd day we rise.

We know God has a right to His indignation and the faithful are not appointed to wrath so we are protected.

We both know a scripture must have 2 confirming witnesses.

All true and although people argue about we both can see it plainly.

So then knowing this, and knowing that prophecy is about Jerusalem,Israel and the punishment and future ingrafting to the Church it is easy to see what sea the Rev 13 beast rises from.

Solomons temple had a sea representing Israel pointing to the four winds. And the sea of saints that are warned of judgment for flirting with sin

Jud1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Having all of the elements of beasts of Daniel the beast begins its rising out of Babylon, the lion. Then it goes on through the ages, medo persia, greek and rome. Rising out of the sea of people it feeds off of.
It kills the saints. Right before Jesus talks about AOD in Mt 23:
Mt23That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,

As John sees it rising it has a deadly wound that had been healed. It almost died along the way. Yes in fact if it had not been for Cyrus setting them free Jesus would never have been born. The seed of David. After the wound is healed (the second temple is finished)everyone marvels and worships it. then it is given power for 42 months. Jesus ministry? the pharasees blasphemed Him all the time. then killed Him.
Then another another beast out of earth arises having all the power of the first and speaking as the dragon and is more tangible. the false prophet. to deceive the church into worshiping the same false religious crap as the pharasees did.
could be the roman church and its idolatry. it perpetuates and splits into 'reformations and gets all entangled with strange doctrines and the world.
I seriously doubt God would write an entire book of prophecy about the nwo. thats a distraction.

anyway this is my belief
its obvious and its what John would have understood perfectly at the time instead of some last minute 2010 now prediction. lol

I was reading last night and came across another verse that speaks of the head wound and the timing thereof. It proves Joel 2 and Rev 12 and Matt 24 correct that the reason the great tribulation is cut short for the sake of the elect is because of a massive invasion of Israel that God steps in and deals with.


Hab 3: 11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation, At the light of thine arrows as they went, At the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march though the land in indignation; Thou didst thresh the nations in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, For the salvation of thine anointed; Thou woundest the head out of the house of the wicked man, Laying bare the foundation even unto the neck. Selah.
