  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ok I told you I'd have a lot of questions :) My first doctor's appointment isn't until next Monday, so I'm using everyone here as my answer service at least until then...hope you don't mind! My concern now is that according to what I've researched, I'm at about 7 1/2 weeks now and have really experienced no symptoms at all besides the fact that my period was late. I can say that I've noticed a slight change in eating habits...when I'm hungry, I'm HUNGRY- my stomach actually hurts a little bit. One day I ate chips and salsa and then felt slightly nauseous after that, but nothing major. Other then that, I don't feel much different at all. Is this bad? I was reading things about no symptoms meaning you have a higher chance of miscarriage...has anyone else heard that? The problem with the internet, is you can't always trust everything you read. Anyone out there have a completely healthy pregnancy with no symptoms at this point? Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you so much!!

I've had 2 miscarriages and I had spotting and cramping, i think most people tend to have symptoms if that is going to happen. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I've not been sick, very very occasionally i just get a little nauseous when i'm not eating regularly and i get quite tired. So not really any symptoms, occasionally i get tender bbs but not much. I was also worrying that I didn't have the same symptoms as my friend as she was really sick, sore bbs etc.
When I was where you are I sometimes didn't even feel pregnant at all. I'm gettin some more symptoms now, like aches in my hips, and feelings as if my stomach is stretching a bit but none of that at 7 weeks.

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about it and enjoy the fact that you've not got all the rubbish symptoms (even though you want "Something" to make you feel preg!)
I met a lady yesterday who only has 3months left and she never found out she was preg until 16 weeks!! She had no pregnancy symptoms at all. So don't worry you're not the only one!

Like gracepaints said, everyone is different, I pray God's peace over your mind right now. I found a verse that said when you allow the Holy Spirit to control your mind it brings peace and life. I rest on that verse when i get worried.

Let us know how the Dr's appt goes.

I'm glad you feel better, having less or no symptoms is totally normal for a whole lot of people. I've had two miscarriages and my pregnancy symptoms with both of them were identical to my symptoms for this pregnancy (I'm due in a couple of weeks now - so no miscarriage this time 'round). I remember reading somewhere that only about half of pregnant women get morning sickness.

Don't speak too soon either - your first urgent rush to the nearest loo could be just round the corner.;)

My first (totally healthy) child I had NO pg symptoms at all. No nausea, no breast changes or tender nipples- nothing at all. If it wasn't for the pg test (and no periods) I would never have thought I was pregnant.

And boy did I worry! I read the same stuff, that nausea etc are good signs and no symptoms could mean more likely to m/c.

Hearing the heartbeat the first time was such a relief, as was seeing baby on ultrasound.

Since then each pregnancy the symptoms hasve gotten worse. So for #2 there was occasional nausea, #3 I vomited a few times, #4 and #5 felt nauseas all day and vomited frequently.

Be thankful for no symptoms :D
