Another Prayer Request

I have been looking for extra part time work for a while, even though I am blessed with a full time job that is going well. I incurred some expenses in the last two years and if I can get a part time job it will help me to pay off my debts quicker than otherwise. I just got a phone call from a sporting goods store where I had applied and they will interview me 10 a.m. Eastern time tomorrow.

I'm looking at this with the attitude of finishing off my debts next year and not looking at it as a way I could get more money to buy new toys. So I am praying I get the job and I will do well at it and that it won't impact my time for church and that it won't impact how I do my day job (I will be pretty tired working all the time but I should be thankful if I have a "problem" like that).

Praying for you to get the job if it is the Lord's will for you to do so. I too, work 2 jobs just to make ends meet because of my debt situation. So yes, you could end up tired some weeks, but the job doesn't sound like it's too physical. Anyway, hope you get it, and I look forward to hearing how it went. God Bless!

Thanks, Michelle. I had a phone interview and I will have an in-store interview tomorrow. Some extra part time work would really help me meet some $ goals even if it is not a lot of money. And I think you know what a joy retail can be, LOL.

Praying...for both the job but even more for the resolution in the financial matters, regardless of how God provides. Keep us posted.

So in contemplating my life this weekend, I realized that instead of just having to work the rest of my natural life, I probably will have to work 2 jobs the rest of my natural life just to make ends meet. WOW, come Lord Jesus, COME!

I just finished the interview. They said they have difficult decisions to make. That tells me the answer is no or at least I am not the top candidate. I should know for sure soon.

Yep I am. Gave it to God. Haven't heard from my step daughter. She's probably mad or hurt and I don't care. Son doesn't know I'm upset or was upset. Going to dinner with my friend who is visiting from Kansas. Going to be a good day.
