  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hello all. I am new here. I would like to introduce myself. I am Episcopalian. I have 4 children (ages ranging from 5-13). 3 boys, 1 girl (girl is the 3rd child and born on Christmas Day). I have been married for 13 1/2 years. I am getting my associates degree in liberal arts, then on to my BA in History. I pray that my priest, vestry and bishop will approve for me to go to seminary. I live and breathe religion and theology every day. If I could talk about religion and theology everyday, that would be something I would really enjoy. I do want to become a priest :priest: okay, that looks more like a bishop :) (in the EC, women are allowed in my diocese to be a priest - diocese of Texas). I am a Sunday School teacher for 5 years, taking EFM (Education for Ministry). Any questions? Ask away!

Yours in Christ,
Jen
