Another matrix movie?

I was wondering, there have been 3 movies in the matrix series. after revolutions, are the producers/directors thinking of making another movie, like another sequel to it? i would like there to be another one as i didn't like how revolutions ended, also strange how it ended. did neo actually die or what?

I dunno, but I didn't like its ending either. It was a big letdown.

yeah. i would think neo being all powerful would triumph over the machines. it kind of had a christian theme to it.

They culminated the whole "end of the world as we know it" scenario. And the messiah or Jesus character was sumarily crucified in a selfless sacrifice to save mankind in the end. Do you think that another movie needs to be made so that he would be shown being resurected like Christ was to further propitiate the stories agenda? I suppose I could see how the makers of this modern day story of God and creation, evil and redemption, Faith and the prison of not believing, could go in that direction. But they've already pushed the theological comparisons much further than any other movie in existance.

I would be surprised if they would take the chance to push religious comfort levels further with the addition of a sequel.

putting aside the theological and philosophical aspects of the 3 films, i just wish they would make another movie to give us a better ending to it.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't like Jesus' ending to his ministry on Earth (as a human being) ending with his death either.

I had heard about it, though Neo wouldn't have been the focus of the movie from what they said. It would be based around the remaining characters. i'm just glad there won't be a 4th.

That wasn't the end of his ministry on earth.

Though as a movie aspect I wish we had more, I did hear that the brothers are behind the story line of The Matrix Online. It's an MMO (Mega Multiplayer Online) game, and theres rumors that it's there that the story will continue. I actually kinda liked revolutions, atleast allot more than reloaded.
