I wasn't talking about the church-goers, just the ones I attend school with now.

There is more of a chance of me seeing some of you after graduating than the friends I am making now.

And I honestly have no idea how the visiting will work out after I graduate. I will probably just drive down. Only problem is I'll be balancing my father with my mother, since I won't be living with either.

if you are the kind of person who takes energy from comforting hands. doesn't work for me. If I'm actually low enough to cry (and I only did twice after Dad died) only my one friend of 7 years would be trusted, and he would give an honest opinion first, a kind word second. I do not gauge a true friend on how good they can make me feel, for anyone can do that who says and does the right things. Rather a friend in my world will stick with you no matter what and who are willing to give you a kick you when you're down about something stupid. Also they must expect the same.

Therefore I have few friends. But they are ties of time-tested loyalty.
