Mmmmm, possibly.

We could do a sympathy and power thing. You know, one completely lacks power over the circumstances and has the pity of the other (like how Reef was a prisoner under the Lake).

I've always enjoyed hate/love relationships You know, when they dislike one another, get into arguments...and then end up falling in love.

Okay, so I say we do something that's not just about romance, but some kind of conflict going on like Forest. Good versus evil type of thing. I think if we could come up with that then it will be easier to make the character and eventually their romantic subplots.

Mmmhmmm. Like Pride and Prejudice, almost. They find each other irresistable in certain ways, but other aspects of their personalities cause monstrous sparks.

I think I'm going to need to think about it tonight. I'm just not getting any ideas >_<!

Alright. But also think on this. The thing that made Rose and Nuova so sweet-- and Reef and Thalassa to a degree-- was the idea of one or both being completely innocent, which fostered a feeling of admiration and protection in the other.

Hmmmm... or what if... what if it was more Beauty and the Beast? One is the one in charge, powerful and fearsome. He/she may not have any sympathy or pity at all for the one under his/her control and may in fact at first be very cruel... that would change, of course

I don't believe we've done anything like that before. It might be an interesting change. Then we could also include the "hate/love" relationship into it.

But it's gotta be good.

And I won't do it now, because you're thinking, but I might bully you into at least thinking again about stopping Forest cold-turkey. I wanted a touching family scene. However, I need to read again to make sure I'm not glossing over all the sucky posts we probably did.

I don't mind doing that at all I'd just have to try and get back into the characters.

Oh wow. I had forgotten we were on the fourth thread. That was such a great RPG...I really wish we could finish it, but I don't know how easily it could be being away from it for so long =\

Ummmm.... It's up to you. I'm honestly scared of restarting and ruining it, but I LOVED that story. Maybe we need to just write a freaking book.

Haha! No kidding. But we had a few other good plots in it that we never got to >_< It stinks.

Yeah, like the whole "Reef, I am your father!" thing.

Exactly And we spent a good percentage of the RPG leading up to that point...that we never had.

Yeeeeah. The song, the voices, the ears. Beowulf had JUST left and we stopped. Bah.

And we had planned on creating a spin-off thread for Rose and Nuova but never did.

Yeah, I remember that, too...But I don't know if there's much we could do with Rose and Nuova unless it had something to do with the government wanting to experiment on them being as they have these special powers and some such.

ACtually, I think it was them just meeting up... you know, in normal lives, and trying to sort everything out. Though the government could be thrown in there in a Bionic Woman sort of way.

It could be cool; the precious rose, wilting under the harsh tests of a government conspiracy, and sweet Nuova coming to her rescue...

Well, kind of. After all, he can't really do much to save her, but it's still a nice thought
