CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good morning!
It was so hilarious yesterday when I was walking the neighbor's dog. Big dogs pull on the leash. And very, very, hard. I have a little five pound wiener dog, and so naturally, I wasn't ready for this big dog's pulling. The dog walked me, let me put it that way. It also dragged me (literally dragged me...I was on the ground) about twenty feet because it wanted a duck out on our lake. Ugh...

It is the sweetest dog...but she is about as dumb as a post fence. It knows 'sit' and 'shake', but that is about all it managed after several obedience classes.

Gen. E's dog drags him around too. But he is REALLY thin and the dog is a frikin beast as far as basset hounds go.

Basset hounds are dogs from the Abyss. No offense, but my aunt had one, and t delighted in sitting in front of the door and tripping you, then once you were sprawled on the ground, it would sit on top of you. Ugh.
