CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

lol. When Daddy surprised us with Gator he was supposed to be an inside dog. PERIOD. Mom shuddered at the thought of having a dog inside. But he was so little and so cute and he was so sad outside that mom said he coudl stay inside until he got a little bigger and more independent.

Bruno's SO CUTE! But he's really dumb. He's run into the screen door more than once. He kills Beanie Babies. He snorts all the time. And, at night, he'll sleep in my room under the covers.

Gator is really dark for a yellow lab. He's 6 but strangers think he's only about 1. He's really really really soft and a wonderful pillow and blanket. He sleeps on teh floor in my room. Before he got his bed he would sleep out in the hall so he could guard all of us kids back in the rooms adjoining the hall. After we're all asleep he goes into each room to each bed and checks on all of us. He goes nuts when the smaller ones (and even me!) are outside by themselves.
But he is the biggest chicken dog I've ever seen. More in a bit...

Gator rubs up against your legs like a cat. He nearly attacked Mom when she came into teh house wearing a ski mask. He's scared of our backyard because mockingbirds live there and once during baby season they divebombed his rear as he was *ahem*. He's also scared of those big red gas cans and Dad when he wears his big straw mowing hat.

LOL!! Bruno attacks ANYONE who rings the doorbell. Well, not 'attacks', he just barks at 'em. Even if he knows them. If they don't live in the house, he'll bark at 'em.

Gator rarely barks at all. He does if we completely ignore him and he's gotta go really bad, or if Ms. Dorlene is out front, if the girls are out front by themselves and we won't let him out. Once he barked at a man that kept driving by while Mom was otu front. So funny to see that guy speed off.
