I had another dream again. I won't tell the whole thing, unless you request that I do so. But one thing that stands out to me about the dream is that I was standing on the beach, it was sunny, the ocean was calm. Suddenly I had this realization that I was out there for hours, but I couldn't recall what I was doing. My dad called me and told me not to come home. He wouldn't tell me what was going on, but I got the impression it was something bad. I felt upset and hurt that I was told to stay away, and decided to go home anyway. I looked at my watch and noticed that it had stopped. The battery was dead. I can't remember what the time was, but I do remember the second hand being frozen just before the 12. Like 3 seconds away. I went into a watch store to get a new battery and the girl told me that it was too late and that the watch fixers had already gone home for the night. I was annoyed. I thought, well, now I have to go to another store. I ended in this big dorm room that was all white with thin green trim. It was empty except for a bunk bed. A big window was open. I looked out and saw white clouds in the sky, but a fierce thunderstorm in the distance. The clouds were dark and there was lightning. I knew I couldn't continue my trip home until it passed. I sat in the room (now there was a table and chair), and listened to the thunder, which was intense. I knew it was going to be a rough thunderstorm, but a good one. I like thunderstorms, so I was okay with it. Then this guy came and said that my parents were there to pick me up. I was happy they came. Then I woke up.

Just so you know, I bought some Christian dream interpretation books, like The Divinity Code, but I feel I am really bad at this.

That's interesting. That thought occurred to me as well for a split second. However, we are not yet in the tribulation, so it can't be 3.5 years.
Yes I know
I was thinking maybe the dream was in the near future at this time.

As @DawnStar said, I probably am not at all qualified to interpret any dream. These are just my thoughts I guess, you probably shouldn't take them as an actual interpretation.

Sometimes I think we can be so desperate for meaning and to hear God speak to us and know His will that there is a temptation to read into life experiences and dreams to search for God speaking to us through them--and of course, there are times when He speaks to us through our life experiences and dreams.

I am the type of person that would be fully willing to acknowledge if I believed your dream were from the Lord. In my humble opinion, I do not think this one is.

I get that being on the beach with calm water can represent how we have "rest for your souls", which Jesus guarantees us, in Matthew 11:28-30. And so, our Father in Heaven does not want us to go "home" to our past and how this world has been doing things. And the storm was meant to protect you from going back from how we can have rest in Jesus and His way.

As far as dream interpretation goes, I would be very wary of using any book other than the bible to interpret symbolism.

Lybrah: We all have dreams and such, not all dreams be prophetic...if this dream is something other than a mere dream, the Lord will make it known to you(ask Him)...inquire of the Lord, not man.
The people in the bible who interpreted dreams inquired of the Lord and the Lord gave them the correct answer...except, when pagan kings had such great dreams--the pagan had to seek an interpreter...like here: chapter 40 of Genesis, chapter 2 of Daniel for examples...godly men interpreted those dreams for pagans.
