Well, here it is, my own contribution to the Christmas spirit in this thread, at @YankeeGirl's encouragement when I first tinkered with the idea of revealing what musical talent I have retained on the viola on this thread. I hope you find it pleasant enough to hear just considering I wanted to make the effort to play. I will admit, I won't be too hard on myself as I boldly tried to play this song using the treble clef (violists read music in the alto clef, normally) and five sharps, and that kind of thing is out of my league for a guy who stopped studying in high school.

I wrote an essay tonight as a contribution to the thread. If you want it, I'll pm it to you. I was going to post it here but then I realized that it's Christmas and that it might disturb the peace of Christmas as some might not like the message and would try and debate or something.

The tree is finally up! This is the latest we have ever put it up but due to the craziness we were pretty certain that we weren't going to put it up but decided to put it up after all. I'm so glad that we did.
