Please pray for a close friend of mine who is struggling with anorexia. It hurts me to see her hurting herself and I love her lots. She is getting treatment and on her way to getting better, but it is still hard for her.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Our Precious, Heavenly Father, we come before you today and thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us. We ask that you be with the one in need and give her strength that she may have a fast and safe recovery. We ask that you help her through the hard struggles related to her illness, and give her the strength to make it through and do your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Ah what a good friend you are, heh heh still wish I could catch anerexia for a short amount of time at least. I will pray for your friend and that you can be a good friend and do the right things that will help her put some meat on those bones.

i've been through anorexia/bullimia myself and i know it's a tough road, but God will get her through it. I will be sure and keep her in my prayers.

I really hope the help shes recieving works, your right shes hurting, and again this is another form of self harm.
Lord you know the root of this young girls problem, and I pray you'll help her realise what it is. Help her to continue with the help shes getting although its tough so she can come through the other end shining knowing shes jumped all the hurdles of healing. Amen
