CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

by saying that all animation from japan is 'perverted trash' doesn't that make you racist? and it's pretty pathetic that you're so obsessed with anime that you have to come to hobbies: anime and manga and post links about how 'bad' anime is when you could have posted that exact same thing in one of the debate forums.

Although I do like watching anime and reading manga (which means i do think it is cool), many of the topics and subjects being portrayed in them are not exactly always proper. I would disagree that all anime is perverted trash because I have found some (although very few) that actually have nothing to argue about. I will agree that a major portion of the anime/manga out there however is inapropriate but than again that would also be describing most of the entertainment being shown in society today. I love the style of the drawings and some of their stories are very well detailed and laid out (much better than a lot of the types of stories you would see in America at least)

I like anime, if its real good. But I am not crazy about it... probably cuz they always make the eyes HUGE, a lil strange to me. lol
