Anime Conventions!

I'm trying to hit Otakon this year. Mainly, it's due to a bunch of friends I have met over the past year at Rockman.EXE Online, so I wanna meet them, since they have this whole little thing over there every year, including this awesome Megaman Battle Network tournament that I'm practicing for. Aside from that, I'll probably just chill out, enjoy the sights, and have fun.

I missed it this year (I think oo)
But Dragon-con in Atlanta, and since this is where Adult Swim is from they are usually there, so I'm planning on going there next year... Need to figure out a costume though...

I think I could pass for Gene from Outlaw Star.... (Wishful thinking XD)

OH! I'll post later a friend of mine that looks just like Gaara from Naruto.... though it's a girl

I went to MegaCon '04, but that's really just a general comic convention that has a good portion of anime-themed events. I went because I was competing in the AMV contest (and before anyone asks, no I didn't win).

If I can actually manage to get a job soon, then I'll probably be saving up to go to Anime Weekend Atlanta next year, since this year's was held this past weekend.
(And to anyone that did go to AWA this year and watched Video Game Project 3, I'm the one that edited the Sonic/Evangelion video)

Ahhh....I wanted to go to Otakon this year....but its too far away Well...it won't be once I get a car XD....in who knows how many years...

My next con will most likely be Animenext 2006....very very far away in June lOlz. But that leaves me plenty of time to prepare costume(s)! I want to do Goku from Saiyuki and Azmaria of Chrno Crusade. And also, if i have time, Riza of FMA

I guess everyone can post cosplay pics here too, if you'd like

I've been to ACEN (Anime Central) in Rosemont (chicago) IL. That was a blast! I had a great time, and I even got to see the pillows in concert!

If you've seen Naruto, you should know who they're cosplaying XD

Honestly that's the only reason I'd be going to a convention is to cosplay... Just who should I be ><

Just cosplay your favorite character or something, it doesn't matter how much or how little you look like them lOlz. As long as you can have fun dressed up as that character. And boy, is that fun

Yeah I thought about that... but if I show up as susuke I'm going to have kids chasing me with shurikans screaming, "BLASPHEMIST PIG!" and I'll have to leave in shame for all anime fans everywhere... but like, only the otaku one's... like... the one's who were inspired by Cowboy Bebop to smoke....
I could pass for Vincent from the movie though... I think I'll go as him...

XD I guess those who go to Con.'s are can sew are blessed people

I'll have to out somewhere and buy a costume that's "Close enough"...

kekees, wells, if you're interested in something a lot and want to learn it enough (like me)....I guess it'll just start coming to you. Tis all practice and hard work =3

Ahh, Vash....I've seen some really nice ones o.o There're plently of ppl who've done him...you can check out sites like cosplay.com or something.

And Jmdenn, ooohs I wanted to go the Anime Boston....but thats still too far for me to go to right now ~_~ *is in NYC*

is anyone headed to M-tac next april. me and my brother are both going, driving seven hours to get to nashville (we're both such geeks, we have no life).
In any case I'm going as tifa lockhart from the FFVII anime last order and I may have a second costume too, but I haven't decided who yet. I'm sure we'll all have a good time at our respective conventions. Bye for now.
