Animals' names by God..?

God created all the creatures- the mammals, birds, animals, etc. Did he also create the names of each one? If not God, who decided on what each animal and creatures in general is to be called?

Yes, Adam is the first man and then came after, molded into a being just like him from his rib after putting him in a deep sleep.
