That stinks! But at least it gives you a little time to earn some cash (or get some things to sell tomorrow) so you won't miss out on a cool piece of furniture you wanted.

Wow, I got this game around my birthday a year ago and played it for a few months straight. Then I forgot to go into my little town once, and it snowballed from there. I've really got to start a new one.

Anyway, does anyone else think that the trading mechanism for this game is just insanely cool? We could trade items with each other in this thread.

Agggh, I wish I had brought my Gamecube back to Korea with me! I want to start a new town as well. I will have it back and be able play Animal Crossing in a month, so if you are still around and wanting someone to trade with, I'll be happy too.

I plant tree's, but they don't stay there! Why is that? I've planted at least 15 tree's and not one stayed there. <_<

Am I doing something wrong???

There are a few factors to consider when you plant trees - the biggest one being that you need to make sure that you plant them far enough apart. Sometimes they grow when you plant them close together, but it's harder for them to. Also, don't plant them near rocks, cliffs, or anything like that. Just keep at it, I'm sure some tress will start growing.

i feel your pain. I have planted like 3 shovels already to get the golden one and every single gold tree has died

Don't plant in shady areas. When planting the shovel tree or a money tree, if there are other trees very close, chop those down.

Anyway I am getting my house renovated....and I took a trip to my friends town that he made when he rented the game....one of the dudes from his town moved to mine....I also had a char on his town so I gave all of that dudes stuff to my other guy!

To trade : Go to Nook's and tell him you want to send someone an item. You must type in their character and town name (capitilization is important!) and he will give you a code. Tell that code to the person you want to trade to, and they will go to their Nook store and enter it to get the item you sent them.

Ok, so lets say you have a character in one town,, and one in another... is there any way possible to send mail to one character from another.?? Does anyone know how?

I don't think so.. I've tried before. But maybe someone else knows.

Yes you can, but you must have both memory cards in your Gamecube at the time. You have to be in their town though, I do believe. I don't think you can send mail from your town to the next town.
