Anguished Heart

Guys, I am really struggling right now. Last week, the guy I was dating and I decided to break things off. I was incredibly devastated by this and still am. I'm having a very hard time at this moment focusing on work and I cannot let this affect my performance at work; however I cannot help the way I am feeling right now. He wanted to continue to maintain a friendship, however I decided to cut ties with him because of the fact that my emotions and feelings have been and are still entangled in all of this. There have been times when I've been tempted to call him, due to the fact that I do not feel any sense of closure in all of this, however I know that if I do, it will set me back and will hurt me even more. Please keep me in your prayers.

Thanks for your continual prayers you guys. I've had a series of crying fits throughout the morning. I know that the healing will take time, however I just want this feeling of sadness to go away.

I know that the healing will take some time, however, I wish that I didn't have to feel this perptual angst in my heart. Although I know that cutting ties with him was the right thing to do, I continue to hurt and I still miss him. The thanksgiving holiday is here and I cannot get into the spirit of it; although, I know that in the midst of my pain there is much to be thankful for. Please continue to pray for me.
