God called you into existence so He could lavish His love upon you.
Remember the words of Jesus, "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy." The devil can destroy your joy only if you let him.
Now a physical suggestion: Have you discussed your depression with your physician?
If this is clinical depression (which I think), it is a CHEMICAL IMBALANCE,not a moral or spiritual failure, and can be treated with the proper med or meds.
I know someone who suffered with CD for years, even from childhood. It was corrected a few years ago with Celexa.

Life is full of pain and grief. Life is also full of good and joy.
Concentrate on what makes you happy. Is it your children? I would hope so. Is it your spouse? I would hope so.
I may be intruding too far, but have you considered third party secular counseling with your spouse? To have someone to bounce how you feel off of can be a very good thing.

To be renewed in your mind is what you are after, as you build yourself into your depressive angry state so you can let Jesus get you out.
See the reason for you being born is for you to flee your corrupt and sinful nature and escape it through Christ and for Christ to get something beautiful out of it. If you sin and then look at the sinner and hate the sinner then you act in anti-Christ manner. Jesus doesn't operate that way. He wants us to be saved from our sin - every day again!
So please lady bring your anger to Christ. Let Him dismantle it with His loving truth giving you grace to eat. When we accept grace from God then self hate dies and love for God comes and dwells in our hearts. It is His love that makes us caring and nurturing people.
So rather than hating this world be like your heavenly Father and love it and forgive people their sins and go out and love God your neighbour and yourself to be able to love your neighbour. Do this with God's love and your life will flourish and your depression disappear.
To cultivate love instead of more anger that is how you can be saved from this affliction. So do bring your angry times to Jesus and leave them there and begin to love instead of hate and see what happens from there.

Thank you for such a beautiful response to me and helping to boost my motivation to prayer against my anger. I know it’s a familiar spirit in my life and I need deliverance. God has delivered me from other things before, I know he can from anger! I just hope it’s soon because I don’t know how to deal with my feelings anymore!!!
This made me cry so hard. I want to be set free so much. I keep asking God but I don’t understand why nothing is happening. My heart is just becoming angrier! I feel awful because it affects how I treat others and myself!!!Yes i now anger can be hard to fight when you see wrong all around and don't understand what the purpose is of it all is.
Salvation from bad life so that you may know His good life is God's purpose for your life, through His Son Jesus Christ He wants to achieve that for you.
The best way to get a righteous anger is to go to God while angry and die being like that because you understand the truth of God's love and refuse to listen to any more lies making you so upset. Simply eat God's grace when you fall and keep eating grace. See God's gracious love flowing in your heart will do away with your angry heart and bring you kind and gentle times instead.
See God understands anger very well but His anger is righteous and just and brings good life around after the event. We people have much to learn don't you reckon? So eagerly take God's love into your angry domain and let His loving light transform you there.
You already know God has the power to overcome sin. So humble yourself before Him and confess to Him that you have stored so much anger that now you find it hard to cope and to please set you free from that. Surrendering your angry thoughts and feelings to Him and ask Him to give you the ability to let go of all of that. Meditate on the reasons that trigger your anger and observe how you go when you are angry and share all of that with Christ as you struggle with your anger.
Please stop judging yourself and refuse to heed the accuser in your guilty conscience - rather each time you fall eat grace, thank God and carry on. The more you internalise God's love the freer from an angry spirit you will become.

It really touched my heart!!! I don’t know why I can’t see life in such a positive way!! But this one little line... I think can dwell on it. You’re right about seeking help for depression, it’s a familiar spirit in my life. Though I know I struggle with anger- where it comes from, I don’t know!!!!! I guess it’s another familiar spirit!!! I need deliverance
