You are not going to convince me that God doesn’t still heal. It happened to me and people dear to me. I have known doctors who have seen it. I’m not talking about some silly televangelist. It is rare and usually private and quiet. Sometimes God does miracles-- when He chooses and not always when we choose.
I am not going to try to show you that this is spiritual sickness, if you read that and believe it refers to physical sickness.
I never wrote that God killed them. God knows the time of death for all creatures. I was just thankful it came when it did. You are reading into what I wrote.

If you did not follow your moms instructions, you are not using commonsense, and making sure you only receive her messages.
It's the same with Jesus.
If you don't stick to the scriptures, you can't claim to study the scriptures, and commonsense.
So you are saying that God can only communicate through the Holy Spirit, because Jesus said He would send Him to teach and to guide. That is limiting the workings of God. If He wants to send a unicorn to lead me out of a forest, He can do it. One method of communication doesn't exclude another.

God says what he used to use, and then says what he now uses.
It's his decision. We do not decide that because he used a particular method with someone, then he is obligated to use it forever.
God has chosen to use Jesus to teach his people.
The scriptures were completed under Jesus' direction, and the message God gave Jesus for the congregations that existed during the time of Jesus' last living apostle, and Jesus delegated the privilege to one of his angels.
That does not mean Jesus is obligated to send angels to people.
We have the complete Bible, and Jesus uses holy spirit to bring the things therein to mind, and guide his followers into the truths written therein.

That tells me miracles do happen... often.
It also tells me the source of these miracles - Satan.
These scriptures also reveal that many people are being misled by these miracles, and God is well pleased to let them be, so that at the end of the day he can get rid of them, because they do not love truth.
I am also happy to leave these persons be, once I have tried to a reasonable degree to help them see the error they are making.
