CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know what you're saying! As much as I would love to see an angel I would pass right out!....Once I heard a voice of warning and the voice ended by saying "this is a message from the Lord" I felt like I had heard the voice of an angel. Oh, I almost forgot. When I first heard this voice I was scared to death! Then the voice said "Do not fear, no harm will come to you" As soon as these words were spoke a peace came over me and all fear was gone!....So after giving this thought, if an angel would appear it may bring this same peace

It is hard to explain seeing an angel, an angel is a spirit, but I have seen an angel at least 3 times, the first time it just plain freaked me out, I was not walking with God at that time(although I was saved) so I wasn't expecting anything,the second time I saw the angel sitting at the foot of the bed, I had been praying about my life and the peace the angel brought was overwhelming, and I think the third time was when I was in a car accident , He was there, I didn't stay dead; now this was not some out of body experience, I was just not breathing and someone said "not yet my child" and I struggled for air and I was fine, well for the most part considering the seriousness of the accident. I believe we just have to expect to see God's angels and we will; we are usually too busy with whatever we are doing to see them. A few months ago as I sat in church I felt a presence, and I looked up and saw what I believe to be Jesus standing right there with our pastor, it was so incredible, I just can't explain it, I told my kids , and they told me the next time I see Him up there to tell them! They are new christians so I just told them to believe and expect to see angels all around. I pray God will send all His angels to guide you and keep you in your life. ...............Molly

Not personally but a care grp sister has, my brother's GF has and so has my wife (in a vision).
They all say same thing:
1. Huge (maybe 7-8 feet tall)
2. White and very good looking.
3. Yes they have wings (thick with feathers)
4. Their clothing doesnt seem to be removable (ie part of body)

Wow...I think you guys are a little different from me. I know God's presence, but his messenger(s) are not quite so familiar. The only vision I remember that has a rather great deal of certainty of spending a considerable time seeing a messenger is one where the messenger was a guide--he wasn't really ethervescent and he didn't appear as a seraph--actually, he was kindof tubby. He took on a symbolic form that I could handle--which I suppose brings a bit of similarity with myself and your friends, Andrew, although that symbolic form is not the same. He led me through the vision, showing me parabolic imagery, although he didn't tell me what it meant; that wasn't his job. In retrospect, he was a rather humorous character--he wore a white suit and a hat. (No, not a white suit like the "attendants of heaven" in hollywood films, but something quite different) For some reason, to me his name was "the rich man"--this was significant to the parables. I knew he was on my side, but he didn't have the kind of familiar, compassionate presence that the Lord has, although I'm sure messengers do at times. He wasn't void of emotion, mind you, but he just wasn't attached to me like the Lord is--you know? I didn't know him as a friend. Actually, in the vision he was always some distance away. At one instance he spoke with the parabolic characters, even, although I think the other characters were just symbols, and not actual entities themselves.

I haven't seen one, but I believe one was present with me when I was in an accident 12 years ago that killed 7 people. Before I got on the bus I could almost feel something pulling me back, urging me to not get on. Then, though injured I was able to get out of the overturned mangled bus on my own and climb up a section on mountain back to the road. I have no memory of the accident itself... but I know I wasn't alone. I know God sent and angel to help me in my time of trouble. I didn't see the angel, but I definately felt its presence.

I have seen many demons. But the coolest experience was getting deliverance myself from my husband one time. We had on fast praise music and we both saw it at the same time. Some kind of angels, not evil. We dancing around our home. We both saw it at the same time. One was a tall gawky blond girl with a big flowered skirt on and the others were dressed similarily and were dancing and clapping like holy gypsies. I saw it at first and said.. Am I going crazy or do you see anything here? He then described them in perfect detail. It was so cool. I dont think they have a specific gender I just think they can take on the forms most comforting to you. Not sure really but its an experience to remember

I've been saved ever since i was 4 years of age, but never found my spiritual gifts untill this year (now 13). I found out that i had discernment of spirits.
I have seen angels ever since i got saved.......Angels are very very peaceful, you just know when they are in the room. They are about 10 to 15 feet tall and DO NOT have wings (only charibiums have wings, and another one that i forgot). Angels are all different, they are not like copies of one another. Some of them are sent with swords to protect you, some of them have harps to comfort you, and others i have seen have like a robe of wonderful rainbow colors. Hope that answered your question
