Angel's Tears

No greater love did the world see
Than Christ the Savior dying for me
Nailed to the cross for you and me
As angel's tears rained down from the sky

"Not my will but Thine be done"
These the words from the Father's Son
As He hung from the cross in agony
Suffering pain for you and me
​

As the spear of death pierced His side
He lifted His eyes to His Father above
"Forgive them Father" was His cry
Showing all the depth of His love
​

And on the cross that day
Our sins God did forgive
With His death Christ showed the way
He did so that we might live
​

That He did not die in vain
This will always be my quest
I will tell of His love and glory
'Til I find my Eternal Rest​
